  • Re: Any thoughts on the Zoot GTX 125 and Zoot Sport 125

I bought the GTX 125 and although it is cheap it goes ok. I think it needs to be de-restricted which im working on, but ive done nearly a thousand k's on it no issues, I just keep the servicing up on it. I also have a chinese 250 trail bike which is excellent. Having said that if you dont know how...

  • Re: VS125 Speed Capabilities

Good luck with your test rides. Remember its on you if anything goes wrong. I just took the plunge once I had my learners permit. I was riding the HD200 the next day, straight home on the back streets. My only other riding experience was a Honda Lead at the riding school. So I thank forums like these...

  • Re: VS125 Speed Capabilities

I drove behind a VS 125 on the Eastern Freeway - Eastlink road system here in Melbourne. It was travelling at a steady 95 kph, in the left lane, for the 10 mins or so before it pulled off the tollway. My vehicle has GPS and an accurate speedo. So the VS125 fits your speed requirement. Now my scooter...

  • Piaggio Fly or Bolwell VS125

Hi All I’m a newbie to the scooter world, in fact to any on road world as I haven’t driven in years (living in inner Sydney I never had the need to buy and run an expensive car!). So I’m now a lucky learner. I know this subject has been discussed before but I am tossing up between the Bolwell VS125 and...

  • Re: Help a complete noob pick a scooter :)

Hi Chris I bought my V125 3 weeks ago and am having a ball. Purchased from Scooter City Elizabeth Street and will set you back more like $3,500. Remember also insurance, still cheap at $250. Gear as well - allow about $400 for this. I did research as well and found the Vmoto a bit too plasticy for my...

  • Re: Which 125-150 cc to buy?

Hi Michelle I am a two week owner of a Bolwell VS125 in Gun Metal Grey. I am having a wonderful time, it is everything and more that I thought it would be and I am amazed at how quickly I have got confidence too. The only complaint I have about the bike is that I am a little about average in height and...

  • Re: Something for a tall fella

[quote user="pikerinoz"]I'm 192cm and approaching 100kgs so size/weight might be an issue. Mates have suggested I should go for a 150cc to keep prices reasonable but to give me enough to keep out of trouble. I'd be keen to hear from others if this makes sense or not. As for the make...
