Despite living in Melbourne I've seen little in the way of rain since I got my scoot in Feb. The odd times I've been riding in it, I've been perplexed with the issue of rain droplets on my visor. Any tips out there?? The back of my leather gloves just smears the water.

My HD200 has a sticker below the instrument panel. Without a pillion passenger you should be looking for 28 (psi?) on the rear tyre and 25 on the front. I use a 7eleven which has a digital display for the tyre pressure.

My advice is if you're gonna do it take it steady. I absolutely don't do it if cars are moving. I see a few nutters (mostly on sports bikes) fairly motoring between moving traffic. I tend to assess each situation as it comes, usually based on a familiar route where I know the traffic light sequences...
