I keep refering to my new scooter as a she so got me thinking what is everyone elses image or even a name if youve gone that far of their scoot my bee wee was more like the sporty cheeky type who couldnt stand still so probably a boy but the majesty is quite sexy looking lol but has a bit of get up and go when needed not sure where everyone will take this post but have some fun get your imagination going I know mine has as you can see but them maybe is was the 4th pure blonde i just finished.............. 

I remember a conversation with a psych nurse once about this thing with needing to refer to your vechile ( we were mainly hassling a V8 nutcase in our group at the time) as something from the opposite sex. It hints at a often unrealised or misunderstood secret desire to actually become a member of the opposite sex.......

In answer to the question- I always refer to the scoots as girls. Maybe it's an 'opposite sex' thing, I dunno. I actually thought everyone referred to cars/bikes/boats as girls...

Maybe it's not because any of us want to be the opposite sex, but maybe it's because we wish the opposite sex was as reliable and performed as well? Or as cheap to run?? Just putting the idea out there...

She christened it 'Penny'... the name stuck.

(although I'm of the Hajime Sorayama camp when it comes to Sexy Robots.. :P)

My scooter is also an 'it'. Someone at work said it looks like something Batman would ride & so it became 'The Batmobile'. I couldn't decided whether Batman would ride a female or male scoot, therefore it's still an 'it'.

Mine is male.  Why would I want to ride a female? :p

Now K-star I havent stopped laughing since reading that but trust me I have no desire to cross over but then again like you say maybe I dont know about it yet either. Although I did have a friend who once quote" I must be a L- - - - - - as I love everything they do!" ok thats my funny for the week.
