    Review SYM Citycom 300i

Hi, I've just joined here from Christchurch New Zealand.

I'm enjoying the scoot and slowly customising it to my liking. You can read a review about my experience here

Does this mean that there are now Kiwiscoot and Kiwiscoota? Top review though. Especially with the 300 coming to Australia soon. Thanks and welcome. Nice looking roads too.

    Thanks for review.  Great!

May I ask what the service interval of the Citycom is?  Is it still 2500km like the other Sym's machines?

Service interval is 3000kms as per owner's manual. I'll be doing mine every 1500ks, cheap enough with only about 1.1l of oil required. No oil filter on these, just a screen strainer.

Yes it seems to make things complicated there are a Kiwiscoot and a Kiwiscoota here in Christchurch. I don't know Kiwiscoota. I've been known on other scooter forums as Kiwiscoot, so I'll just stay with that. There should not be any confusion with posts from the photo in my signature.

You wouldn't belive how hard some people find that to grasp. But the cheapest way to keep your scooter running like new is oil..

I've been seen sneaking of at night on weekend rides to do a change after a long day riding.Confused

Nah, I'm not that onimous at all.

It might get a bit confusing though having two similar sounding member names here.

I've been a member for quite some time,  I was living in Sydney until I recently moved back to Christchurch.

Just don't say anything negative about Vespas. If you can follow that rule, you'll find that Kiwiscoota will keep his pistols safely down in his holsters.

Thanks. Well people will know us by our signatures and avatars. And I wouldn't think of making bad remarks about Vespas. I love Vespas. The only accident I ever had on motorised two-wheel vehicles was with a late 1960's Vespa with a sticky throttle cable.Big Smile Left one with fond memories.
