Hey yall, anyone down for a coffee run on Sunday?

Meet at Bikeforce Freo, down the coast to Scarbs, coffee there.....

(Scootachic will notice this ride is scheduled for Sunday and will therefore have no excuses :)

The only excuse I need is the one I give to the dog since he'll miss out on his morning walk.

I'll put the word out through the mailing list tonight if you wanted to post something in Perth Scooters group? What time do you want to meet up at Bikeforce? 10am again? If you like I can lead the mob back down to Freo along the route we generally take along the river, although you're obviously fairly familiar with it already given the filming you did for Steve.

BTW the video is pretty cool although I notice that I only get half a second of fame.

Yeah, 10am unless there are some hang over issues! (not from me you understand, not under any circumstances)

The river route sounds interesting perhaps coffees down there even? That would be great if you can let your list know!

Either way would be fine. If we meet up in Perth for the run to Freo then I would suggest we meet at the carpark on Riverside Drv not too far from the Causeway at 10am. Otherwise I could organise a meeting point up here for the northeners for the trip to Freo to meet your lot. let me know what you want to do.

Hey Scootachick, my band, Blue Celts has a gig up your way on Friday evening at 7-8pm. Joondalup Market. I think it's on the main shopping street opposite an Irish pub. Not sure if I'm scooting or car-pooling with the rest of the band yet.

If you fancy some Freole or Irish blues, come along.

Yes ok, I may well come along . Will have to see how Friday goes though as things aren't slowing down in the scooter retail world despite the doom & gloom reported in car sales.

 Back to the Sunday coffee run - What's the go? Freo to Scabs or Perth to Freo? OR Freo to Scabs to Perth to Freo?

 Jane and I arent fussed where it goes, we cant go to northam so wherever we go on sunday will be awesome regardless......

 

The Avatar thing.. Easily fixed

 

Open your picture in MS paint

 

Click Save AS

save it as a BITMAP 24 bit image

Open the BITMAP 24 bit image in PAINT

 

 Click Save AS

Save it as a JPEG.

It will then load to the avatar thing properly..

Basically, you are converting the JPG to a raw bitmap, and back to JPG again, fixes errors in the resolution of the image.. which is why some avatar scripts reject them.

 The M.A.D ride isn't until the following weekend, 30th of November.

 Exactly.. we cant go on it. weve got a wedding that weekend..

 Like.. weve already got the wedding on the 30th nov weekend...

 

So the weekend before is like a consellation prize :P
