 Im really considering going for my m/c licence again, but due to the extra bout of performance anxiety, i would like to know how many times you can go for a m/c assessment before you are disqualified from trying to get the licence, or can you go for it 10-20 or more times till you pass? Im talking of WA licencing.

I think you can as many times as you want to , but the thing is , that every time go for your lessons , you try to improve a little a bit a time , you never ever think that you cannot ever pass , allways think bright thoughts , you are going to pass , and always keep at it the licensing and lessons with your motorcycle instructor , and never ever give up on the obainting a 250cc license .

go for it! get lessons.

I've been riding for a total of 8 months (almost all of it on a 50cc which was my first bike). I had three lessons (two 1hr lessons and a 2hr lesson) and did my test and passed (on a manual scooter). I also had one 'practice ride' with Ace Scooters along the coast, which was brilliant. Just riding along is valuable experience.

Get some solid lessons and riding time, then do your test. Just relax! I had one of my 1hr lessons right before my test, which was great, it really calmed me down and had me in the swing of things. I was prepared!

We have someone with ultimate wisdom amongst us.  Geez it's about time, after all these 50cc riders (50cc riders please excuse me, not havign a go at you, but this wank) with no brains that have been hanging around in here.  It's about time we got someone with the intelligence of Paris Hilton!

 I'm presuming that the m/c licence you are referring to is the Motorcycle Operator Skill Test, MOST.  I found it posted on the Tas Transport Dpt site (wouldn't be surprised it is also on your WA site) and practised the 4 skills for a few weeks before my scheduled test.

It's not cheating to practise beforehand, in fact it gives you so much more confidence as you know what you need to demonstrate anad know that you have done it all before.  Just keep you concentration sharp and talk yourself through each test.
