    Hi Buggar!

sorry to hear about your continuing problems. I thought you had taken the scoot to a specialist place that deals with dials etc? How often do you call the dealer or whoever is sorting this for you? You might need to harass them regularly, even call the distributer yourself, to get anything done.

It's what I did with Vmoto after no luck for months with various dealers. Vmoto ended up fixing the issue as well as giving me a few extra surprises as a Christmas present. Shame they closed the warehouse down. History seems to be repeating now with the LG breaking down today, however this time I have a good dealer, am covered by the warranty & so it should all be sorted. Hopefully soon.

Now to be found "working" at Ace Scooters (sales, accessories, coffee maker, dish washer, gopher and general stirrer).

A New Speedometer system is being developed by the Kymco Engineers at this moment. My dealer Scootamor'e was unaware of the problem & has gone all out with Bug & the manufacture's to sort the problem out. The speedo is reading way to slow for the actual speed ... IE   110kph reads 128-130kph on the speedometer. I am left to wonder wether this also affects the RPM range, as everything is electronic......

......  As far as a Scooter goes ,,,, The Xciting 500 is an exceptionally good unit over all, for its price ............  plenty of comfort & plenty of Grunt Ha Ha ..... Easy do the clock and taco ............    cruise on 130kph@6700rpm ............

Brakes are excellent , riding position is fantastic , handleing is very good for a tank , Ive scrapped both sides of the scooter laying it over & Bugger it has more too go , recon I could scrape the handle bars without dropping her .......  I find the Xciting 500 a great all rounder and enjoyment to part my legs on ...........

If it wasnt for the warranty side of things I would definately be towing a weekend away trailer....... The first company who allows a trailer will win me .............

Soon as I got it home came off the Xciting sticker and on in place went a couple of BUG stickers , just B4 the R ... Now I have a BUGR LOL.........

Seems to take for ever with these manufacturer warrantee claims ,,, " I myself do not think its good enough " ... Parts , bits & pieces should be replaced no longer than a month ,,, a month maximum should be LAW ....
