Today I completed the requirements to have the 125cc auto bike restriction removed from my licence (I had to complete the RTA's Pre-provissional course) and now I'll have that restriction removed and have my full bike licence, which will allow me to ride me new new Derbi (when it arrives) and anything else that I may ever want to ride.
It was a long day (6-7 hours) but was good. The funny thing was that after all that time riding around at slow speeds in the high school assembly area, all i wanted to do was get out on the road and go quick. The road-ride component of the course was good too. A lot of the route that we took was made up of bits of the roads that i ride on regularly so i felt comfortable riding on them.
