Ok All you errant sausages.  Thsi time I'm upping the ante.  I've kept the doorbell for myself...nice little birthday present.....Sorry Denni, Sorry Glen!!!

So for anyone from the forum that comes to visit and show support or races in the last round of the youngstars goes into the draw to win some nice prizes.

Denni & Glen get 2 chances if they show up again.  I'm thinking a voucher or giftcard from a bottleshop like cellarbrations or BWS etc etc or maybe a voucher from Bunnings who knows.... come out to visit to find out and win it.

Right now down to figures.  This final should see 5 of us back on the grid and maybe 6 if Glen gets something to run.

The sporties are are starting to take notice I reckon. The first race we had (rnd 3) they just handed us our medallions at the end after all the other presentations, last weekend (rnd 4) Kathryn actually had a little spiel about us tooting each other, (something I think we should do, might be a laugh) and jason got to say a few words and it was awesome. Now for this coming final round, let's show them that we are as serious as anyone else with our racing  (maybe no tooting then....) Jason is going to be taking it to the Motolites and superlites and Rob and I will be banging elbows again.  HEY ROB!!!!! I'm down to 88 kilos now and still coming down so this last round is going to be awesome.

Gates open at 7am and racing usually starts at around 8:45am

Geez Craig, youv'e been doing some serious fasting to go faster.......& it paid off, too.

I've been stacking it on for whatever reason, & maybe we're gonna balance out.

The tooting will have to be left to Shelley....the Bandits don't have a battery anymore

Well, Rob We landed safely in Byron but have had a big lunch and curry dinner so maybe you might not be under threat.

But mind you it's still a month away.  My leather pants are getting a bit loose on me now......LOL!!!!

Hopefully we might be able to gnash @ Jason's 50cc heels as the Bandits should have some porting action happening.......Jason's been coaching me!!!.........me with a Dremel in the Lab....    he he he he he heeeeee 

Got a camera ( http://www.atc2k.com/ slow site) & that together with Paul's rigged to my handycam should have some awsome footage.

I think Jason was going back to the 70kit when I spoke to him on Saturday.....so I think we could forget about him.  

And as for the championship, just been checking on the points sytem, Since you can't get any further back than 3rd or maybe fourth, The only way I'm going to finish ahead of you in the points at end of season is if you crash....ummmm twice and I don't think that's going to happen......  oh well, it should be awesomely fun regardless...... So bring it on April 12th!!!

"If I crash"    ......Nah, that doesn't sound like an attractive option     I honestly can't afford to go bouncing around on bitumen......I'm supposed to stay at home wrapped up in cotton wool, the Doc's said.

Honestly though Craig, you rode really well, as you do everytime, & I was surprised @ how smooth & easy your style looked.  I'm gonna be loaded up with movie cameras & that's gotta slow me down! 

hey Rob Just had fun working out the next lot of points for the last round of racing. You don't have to crash...... But for me to just beat you home, (and this is working on the equation that Paul isn't there or races the Super 9 etc etc and that we only do 5 races in the day) I have to place ahead of you in four races and beat Jason in a 5th one and hope he stays ahead of you. Points then would be

1. Jason   345 points
2. Craig    291 points
3. Robert  289 points

But if you were to also beat Jason in that "5th" race ie you pick up 20 and he picks up 18 well that would be like this

1. Jason   343 points
2. Robert  291 points
3. Craig    291 points

and I'm sure if it was to lay like that, you'd get second on count back. You with 1  1st, 7 2nds & 7 3rds and me with 1 1st, 8 2nds and 4 3rds and 2 4ths.

 I think we can forget about Michelle and Jason as they are definites to take out both the classes.....YAY!!!!

Well it's all just speculation and I'm just trying to find something to keep my brain from going stupid with waiting till next round...

I hope to get some awsome footage of all the racing. I've certainly got one of the lipstick cameras, & hope to have another as a loaner which will take care of front & rear.  If can borrow Paul's maybe another bike?......though if there's anyone we know spectating then they'll get the "honours" (job) of camera crew

I've not yet opened up the Bandits, as I've been working on the Monza as you can see in the Monza Blog.  Busy busy busy!!!

Just saw some more details regarding the final points afdter round 4.

Jason has been listed in the 50s class with Michelle but the both came first in the last race???? However Michelle has been listed as coming 2nd in round 3 as well???? If it's right that Jason's listed under the 50s for round 4 Final points should be 225 for Michelle and 125 for Jason....unless his points from the 51-250class carry over....I'm confused but it means I did win the class overall on the day...nice birthday present but I'm still a little way behind Rob going into Round 4...

It's looking like another ripper for the weather.

All the bikes should be going fastest they've ever gone becauase of clutch sorted, & engine ported.  I hope we can make a real push @ the field.

Shelley & I are still under self-imposed quarantine with a nasty viral weirdy thing we knocking us about....we'll be a bit anti-scocial......so keep ya distance.  (He He.....race tactics......we'll sneeze if you try to overtake )

Wasn't it awesome. I've never had so much fun banging elbows with. The last race was an absolute hoot... How wide do you reckon you made you bandit?  6ft? 8ft. certainly made me fight for it then.  The Budgie with the Savas just made it so easy to change and swap lines in the corner to try and get past.  Keeping the speed up to try and go around the outside only to find you closing the door, so you just tip it in and try and go underneath!!!

Awesome brilliant!!!!  And how good are those savas.  Put your hand on it and you can feel the heat in them and hold it there for a few seconds then your hand sticks and you have to peel it off from the tacky tyre. Brilliant!!!

Rob and I had a bit of a verbal agreement "rule" that if you got beside the person in front the corner was yours. Just a way to play it safe a little I suppose. But I think in the last few races, we flaunted that a little.   Submarine Captain Kstar here, Corner coming up and Rob's left us a few inches of Room!!!! Dive! Dive! Dive!! (under brakes that is....)

Well gotta look forward to what now?  Sporties are hoping to run it again at the end of the year and I'll be there again, hopefully on my own 70cc beasty but will have to see. I might just commit the Agility then.  Will just have to see how the year pans out.

You really earned your championship.  I used the bits of road where I thought you'd make your moves using the eyes in the back of my head, but you counter attacked with a surprise pass on the outside: excellent racing.  You made it look all so easy.

When you were ahead, no matter what I tried I just couldn't hang on to ya in the hope of making a move.
