I would like to change my name in this forum as i sold my Mio yesterday, so Mamma Mio is not quite appropriate.

It is not as easy as I hoped, as I cannot get into the name field when I am in the edit profile screen.

Can someone PLEASE  tell me how it is done.

You need to send an email to Allen requesting the change - allen@scootersales.com.au

It's a little complicated as you need to turn off your autologin, delete password history etc but Allen can run you through it. Unless Dozer or one of the other admins can do it? 

Or just open a whole new account

 Probably easier to open a new account if you want in right now, this very second, straight away.

I have just made a total catastophe of my profile. I just lost my photo in my eforts to update it.

I will give it all a break and try aagain 2morrow. I prob will need to start again....

Photos can only be about 34kb, I find it better to have the direct link from photobucket, usually works everytime!  It can be frustrating, but you will get there

 Actually it's 62kb.

Mammamio by far the easiest option is to upload the photo to your Flickr account, copy the URL & file name, come back here & paste it in the Avatar Url section & hit the Save button. If THAT doesn't work do it again & hit the Update button. If you see a green strip saying your profile will update in 10 minutes then you've succeeded.

As you can see, I have managed to change my photo. It looks like rubbish though, so I will have to organise another sitting.

Anyway, I will wait and see what Allen says about changing my name first and whether I need to just re-register as Lil'Mamma.

 From the looks of it Lil'Mamma the forum gods have been good to you and your name has already changed.  I believe you will need to log in again with the new username, password should still be the same.
