Welcome, as another Agility owner, i've enjoyed fun and great value scootering.

I've solved a few issues over 15 months and 10000 kms of ownership.  The "downloads" section in

ScooterCommunity helped me greatly - all the Agility technical + service manuals are there for free access.

LOL, I recently bought one of these and when I read you paid $1,500 for yours I started to turn green with envy. Then I realised this must be the U$, not Australian.

yeh 1500 American bucks, in Australia we pay $2490 + taxes and charges and maybe more soon given the dollar. Good scooter the agility and with regular servicing it will run forever. Solid

Speaking of regular servicing, every 2,000kms does seem a bit too 'regular' to my liking. It's my one gripe with this scoot (ok, the other one is its small petrol tank)... I'd be quite interested to hear what sort of servicing intervals Kymco recommends to their customers in the US?

Isn't it every 2500k's? Scooters that do not have an oil filter need more frequent servicing.

Nope - according to my dealer, and also according to the little Kymco-branded booklet that came with the scoot, it is every 2,000kms.

I owned a Honda bike once (good old CB250) which also didn't have oil filter, yet it managed 3,000kms between services...

Yes, the cautious Kymco people  recommend oil changes every 2,000km.

If you feel lazy use a fully synthetic motor oil.  Liquid magic should last longer.

Personally, I can spare 1/2hr every  6 weeks to do an oil change and filter screen clean.
