There are two dealers that I put in the same category.
One is Steve @ Ace,
And the other is Scooter HQ
To them it's just not about selling you a scooter, it's about selling you a lifestyle. There is so much passion there in these guys, it is not just a job to them, it is a life, and a passion, and quite possibly an obsession.
You are not pushed into anything, if you want to buy you will buy, you dont need a salesman telling you you want to, having walked in the shop, you have already made a decision.
With HQ I have found they dont just become your dealer, your mechanic, but you also gain a friend. Everyone who works there, from D'Arcy & Brendon, down til poor ol Tim & Wayne out the back slaving away to get our scooters off their floor and back on the road as quick as possible (without sacraficing any part of your scooter), so they can see their customers smile again :)
A great dealer is one, who knows what they are talking about, knowledgable on every product they sell, not pushy but helpful, and will know which scooter is best for you, regardless of if its a 50, or a maxi. (Example: I was thinking about a new scooter, Brendon told me to come and try out the Sportcity, as he thought it would be perfect, but having said that he also had me test ride everything in his shop, to see what I prefered, and he was right). And when you walk in the store, be prepared to be there at least one hour, as you can't shut these guys up!
They will go out of their way to help you, and will not charge you a bomb for the priviledge!
If I lived in Perth, then I would be dealing with Steve, I know that for sure. But as I am in Brisbane, it's Scooter HQ for me!
