Central Coast Scooter Club wil be hosting a scooter show on Sunday 9th November from 9:30am - 3:00pm on the waterfront at Gosford (just up the F3 from Sydney). Several local dealers will represent most of the major brands although the day will be one for sharing information and enthusiasm for scooters.

If our little get together at Pie in the Sky a few weeks ago was anything of an indication then this show event will be really wonderful as I am distributing the invitation as far as I possible can.

Although we do not have Council permission to sell food on the day it's hardly necessary because the venue is within walking distance of a Leagues Club, one of the best fish and chips shops in the universe, and even the now world famous Iguana Joes club. But what the hell, best option is to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy beside the water.

 Admission is free and there will be plenty of off road parking.

To get there from Sydney take the F3 and take the Gosford exit. Follow the road down the hill through West Gosford. As you approach Gosford itself you'll pass over a large railway overpass and come to a large roundabout. By this time you'll see a football stadium on the left and the Scooter Show on the right, adjacent to the water. Too easy.

I'm going up if the weather's ok. I live at Lane cove and will be riding a 250. Happy to link up with anyone. More fun riding in convoy.

Meeting at the Shell Service Spacestation on Epping Rd between Sam Johnson Drive and Mowbray Rd (on the left coming from the city) Lane Cove West. Departing at 10am. Come along.

What a GREAT day … Peter and I met up at Shell, Epping and made the best of the ride by taking the back roads and Old Pacific Highway to Mt White with lots of twist … and did the same on the way back.

 

We also met up with a number of Central Cost Scooter Riders and had a wonderful day checking out the bikes on display and the representative.

Yeah we had a great ride. Excellent weather. It was fun looking at the demographics. The lady on the right rode a 150cc Lammie all over Europe with another girl as pillion.

It was a good day. Thanks to the Central Coast Scooter Club and to my wing man John.

I missed out, in Newcastle in the morning it looked like it was going to be a crappy day (pissn' down cats and dogs), but sounds like the sun turned out for u guys.
