    Bowell Scooter- Help needed please!!!

Hi all,Need some help. I've just purchased a Bowell Jollie. It had been sitting in the garage for more then a year, so it needs a service, but am a bit broke at the moment to get it done in the shop!Just wondering, is there a work shop manual available for download or any sort of instruction any where, so can get some basic servicing done such as battery/oil/spark plug replacement.Or, what are the similar model of scooter that might have same engine type to Jollie, whose instruction I might be able to use?I would truly appreciate any advice or suggestions,Thank you!

The Jolie layout is different to a lot of other 2-stroke 50s so they will only cover the basics.  Depending on you mechanical knowledge, you should be able work things out based on other 2-stroke manuals.

However, I do suggest, getting a scooter mechanic to give it a once over (minor service) and that shouldn't cost you more than $80-$100 tops.

Really, if it was serviced just before it went into storage, all it should need before you use it is check the tyre pressure, charge the battery, check the brakes, making sure they work correctly, change the spark plug and refresh the petrol.  But again, I suggest a mech go over it just for piece of mind.
