    Re: throttle grip locks??

I bought mine from Bike Tyre City (The Bike Doctor). They're not cheap, considering what they are, at $80 but I think it's worth it for peace of mind.

Another option is the Xeno disc brake lock with cable. The lock is alarmed with a 110dB that is ear splitting & definitely grabs the attention of anyone around. Steve does sell those.

Now to be found "working" at Ace Scooters (junior salesperson, coffee maker, dish washer, gopher & general stirrer).

Currently riding a Vespa GTS250ie. Hopefully this will be the last time I "upgrade" for a while atleast!

I've got a disc lock with a coil thingy an that was only $35. It doesn't have an alarm on it btw.

I almost wish I had bought the grip lock though because this poor old bugger with the bad back now has to bend down and fit the lock on the disc. Tongue Tied

If you have time to hesitate, then you're already too late. Ride safely everyone.

Do you mean one of these?

Get them here at http://www.grip-lock.com/shop/ for $89.00.  I have one, but I dont use it, if I could find the key I would sell it to you.

That's ScootaChic's trick, or leave the keys at home or at Ace

They weren't on my keyring and I think I just misplaced them in the move.  They wont be far away.

Wow this looks quite cool and unobtrusive...do they really work? Why don't you use it? (I'm doing research for my upcoming scoot, and just thought of getting the disc brake+handlebar coil thingy..but this looks much better!)
