They are still being made just the 125 & 200 are no longer imported to Australia by Aprilia so parts will not be an issue, the gap in the 125 is fullfilled by Derbi bringing in the Rambla 125.

Aprilia are coming out with some amazing scooters at the moment, and with Derbi being in the family as well, there will be no issues with parts etc.

Had I have thought there would be a concern for parts down the track, I would never have bought the Sportcity, and would probably be on the Derbi Rambla (or waited a little longer and be on the Beo).

And if all else fails I just hop on the Derbi GP1 250 which I also have in the garage :)

The sportcity 125 has been dropped from the Australian lineup & you bought yours as a runout special. The 125 is still being made, they are huge in Europe & parts are readily available. It is just no longer part of the Aprilia Australia product range.

I think it's more of a case of people not reading my posts correctly.

The Derby is far too motorcycle-like for my liking

Yeah it is, and if you are short like me at 163cm, I do struggle getting the leg over!  But it is one of those scoots you have to get on to believe!
